Update 5/1: Greenwood's owner, John Schoustra, will be speaking at The Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens (Friends Hall) on Thursday, May 13 at 2:30 pm. The topic will be: "Pelargoniums from Angels to Zonals". Are pelargoniums geraniums, or is it the other way around? John will explain it, highlighting some of the best choices for Southern California gardens, from the familiar Zonal and Ivy pelargoniums to the nearly perpetually blooming Angels. A plant sale will follow the program. Welcome to Greenwood. Our growing grounds will open to the public April 3, 2010 and all Saturdays through June 26 (Hours: 9:30 am to 4:00 pm). While here, explore our test garden, Rancho de las Flores (except during events). If you're unable to make it to Somis (or even if you can), why not visit our booth at the Spring Garden Show at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, Thursday, April 22 through Sunday, April 25 (www.springgardenshow.com) or the L.A. Garden Show at the L.A. County Arboretum in Arcadia the following weekend, Friday, April 30 through Sunday, May 2 (www.lagardenshow.com).
